First week
As a data scientist, I was thrilled to get an opportunity to intern in Odense, Denmark. Odense is a beautiful city located on the island of Funen and is known for its rich history, culture, and innovation. During my two months of internship, I gained valuable experience working with data and collaborating with professionals from various industries. In this blog post, I will share my experience and the things I learned during my internship.
Working with Danish Data
One of the most interesting aspects of my internship was working with Danish data. Denmark is known for its high-quality data and transparency. I was impressed by how open the Danish government is with providing access to data. This allowed me to work with a large amount of high-quality data that helped me gain valuable insights.
In addition, I was able to collaborate with professionals from various industries such as healthcare, finance, and transportation. This provided me with a diverse set of data and allowed me to work on projects that have a real impact on society. Working with Danish data also helped me improve my communication skills as I had to present my findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Cultural Experience
Apart from working with data, I also had a great cultural experience during my internship. Denmark is known for its high standard of living, and I was able to experience this firsthand. The city of Odense is a great place to live, with plenty of green spaces, bike-friendly streets, and a vibrant nightlife. I was able to explore the city and learn about Danish culture, food, and traditions.
In addition, I was able to make some great friends during my internship. Danes are known for their friendliness and welcoming nature, and I felt right at home during my stay. I was also able to learn some Danish words and phrases, which helped me communicate better with the locals.
Conclusion
My two months of internship in Odense, Denmark as a data scientist was an incredible experience. Working with Danish data and collaborating with professionals from various industries provided me with valuable experience that I will carry with me throughout my career. In addition, the cultural experience was unforgettable, and I was able to learn a lot about Danish culture and make some great friends along the way. I highly recommend Odense as a destination for data scientists looking for a unique and enriching internship experience.
This is awesome! I added avocado also and sour cream. The family loved it too. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
So glad you enjoyed it, Sukie!
Made with regular gnocchi land was perfect! Came together quick and easy! Entire family enjoyed, even a picky eater who would never eat kale. Praises from all! Didn’t have fresh thyme and subbed with dry and was delicious. Used a Sauvignon blanc for the wine and used chicken stock instead of broth.
Hi Nina! Thanks for the tip. 😉
