Tofu is boring? No! Not with this sauce!

Gochujang Tofu – Easy, Tasty & Spicy
Gochujang is a savory, sweet, and spicy fermented chili paste, popular in the Korean cusine. It is perfect for creating spicy sauces!
Zutaten
- 1 block extra firmed Tofu
- 1 TBS Corn Strach
Gochujang glaze:
- 1 TS Gochujang paste
- 1 TS Soy Sauce
- 1 TBS Sesam Oil
- 1 TBS Corn Starch
- 1 TS tomato paste
- 1 TBS sugar
- 1 Cup water
Anleitungen
- Cut the Tofu in mid sized cubes and place it in a container. Cover the Tofu with cornstarch and shake it in the container until everything is well coated.
- Mix all ingredients for the Gochujang sauce.
- Heat a pan, add some oil & fry the Tofu until it's crispy. Add the sauce and cook until it thickens.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of Gochujang paste used to your own spice preference. You can also add garlic, ginger and/or rice vinegar to the sauce for more flavor.
- Gochujang Tofu is perfect for Bowls, in Wraps or as a side dish! Enjoy!
